On my resource about Antagonist, I came across an article in which it explains the antagonist is the person, place or thing that opposes the heroes.” For instance, in the story of Moby-Dick by Herman Melville, the antagonist may be regarded as the whale “Moby Dick” of the title, against which the story’s leading character Captain Ahab strives. Yet Captain Ahab is not actually the protagonist of the story, as it is told from the point of view of the narrator Ishmael. The plot is also called the heart of the story. The search for a lost person, or a murderer or even surviving a disaster is a plot. Some writer’s use several plot to serve as a time line for what the characters with do or react to during the course of a story.

A story is a bunch of actions caused by the plot. Once the plot has been made the story then starts to develop around the plot. The story is basically the emotions of the characters. The emotions keep the story moving toward the plot points.
